Our mission is to serve the veteran women who served us by providing proven non-clinical therapy options that allow them to step away from their daily traumas to find pockets of peace in their day and to let them know they are not fighting their invisible battles alone.
Program Information General Description of what students will be doing at this Site:
Interested interns will be working with the CEO/COO to investigate appropriate program grants, in addition to writing said grants, if they are qualified.
Interested interns will work with the CEO/COO to create outreach plans to women veterans and possibly active duty women, who fall within our demographic.
Interested interns will work with the CEO/COO create possible expansion of programs and fundraisers.
Interested interns will work with CEO and directors to create content for social media and website.
Opportunity to learn about GI Josie horsemanship at the ranch.
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include researching and/or writing grants, finding content and uploading said content for social media and the website, collaborating with the CEO and/or board of directors to expand programs and to assist in launching said programs, performing outreach to various veteran/military locations, and assist in fundraising endeavors.
Desired Intern Characteristics: Self starter, motivated, goal oriented, proficient communication skills, good research skills,creative thinker.
