Academic Success MentorAt — Independent Minds Academy
An academic mentor provides guidance with an emphasis on supporting student's to meet specific developmental needs. They will work with children and adolescents, helping them to set academic goals, develop study skills, and improve their overall academic performance. The mentor may help students with a variety of academic tasks, such as homework assignments, research projects, and test preparation. They may also provide guidance on time management, organization, and stress management techniques. Additionally, the mentor may help students navigate the challenges of academic life, such as college applications, choosing a major, and dealing with academic setbacks. They may work in schools, tutoring centers, or online, and they may tailor their approach to meet each student's individual needs and goals.
Interns will gain beneficial experience in teaching, working, developing, and leading students.
Training will include tutorials for Google applications that interns will be working with, and training for group setting mentoring for students through a remote setting.
