GoodHealth at Goodwill of Silicon Valley
The GoodHealth Program, in partnership with Goodwill of Silicon Valley, empowers Post-Secondary Adults with special needs through comprehensive health education while developing the next generation of healthcare educators. We create inclusive learning environments that provide equal access to health education and life skills development through meaningful classroom experiences and hands-on community engagement. Through creating transformative educational environments where Post-Secondary Adults with special needs gain the confidence and skills to live independently, while emerging healthcare educators develop expertise through hands-on experience. Through comprehensive health education, self-advocacy training, and professional mentorship, we build strong communities where individuals with disabilities thrive, and compassionate educators excel. Together, we advance equal access to health education and personal development for all.
We work with moderate to severe individuals who are on the spectrum. All interns will be accompanied by the primary teacher/caseworker along with multiple aids and registered behavioral technicians/therapists while providing on-site services.
