GoodHealth at Goodwill of Silicon Valley

Organization Description

Our purpose and mission is to serve Post Secondary Adults within special education services by providing health and career education/training. We provide equal access to health education and mobility training through meaningful classroom health education lessons and on-site volunteer experiences. With the help of college intern students, our program offers a unique internship experience allowing interns to teach independently in classrooms. We also provide leadership projects that allow interns to extend their hands-on experience in the job field. GoodHealth integrates Application, Career and Skill Development, and Personal Development.

Health & Safety

We work with moderate to severe individuals who are on the spectrum. All interns will be accompanied by the primary teacher/caseworker along with multiple aids and registered behavioral technicians/therapists while providing on-site services.
