Opportunity Summary 

Studenss will learn the business side of the healthcare industry. student will learn how to verify eligibility, coverage, and will learn accounts receivable. student will learn who is financially responsible when insurance is capitated. student will learn the back office and updating records.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

student will have an overview how medicare /medicaid works, how HMO and various insurances are being billed. who pays for the co-insurance.

Opportunity Training 

The student will be trained to understand census on daily basis, how insurance becomes primary and secondary.
