Opportunity Summary 

Under general supervision, the Community Engagement Intern will have the opportunity to create content for, both, the City website as well as all social media platforms. Interns will also have the opportunity to participate in any engagement opportunities that take place during the course of their Service Learning Hours, this can include attending collaborate workshops or events that the City Hosts. Lastly, they will gain a better understanding of City Government, specifically under the Community Engagement/ Recreation Department.

We host City Council Meetings every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at 6PM at the Gonzales Council Chambers and Gonzales Youth Council meetings every 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 4-6PM.
