As a vital part of our healthcare staff, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient operations, exceptional patient experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. As an intern staffer, you will be responsible for various administrative and clinical tasks, contributing to the overall success of our medical practice.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Professionalism when interacting with patients, staff, and medical doctors; how to schedule appointments for consultations and for procedures while optimizing time; how to respond to patient inquiries over the phone and in person; how to verify accuracy of patient information and insurance information while enduring confidentiality; how to complete RFAs (Request for Authorizations) for insurance companies; how to use electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks); how to input patient intake forms; how to prepare exam rooms and waiting rooms to ensure cleanliness; how to manage supplies and equipment; how to assist during medical examinations and minor procedures; how to administer medications, injections, or other treatments as directed by the medical doctor; collaborate with office staff and doctor to endure the best communication.

Opportunity Training 

The Site Supervisor will train the student to preform these responsibilities
