Center for Community Solutions (CCS)

Organization Description

Center for Community Solutions (CCS) is a San Diego-based nonprofit organization dedicated to ending relationship and sexual violence. Since 1969, CCS has been providing trauma-informed, wrap-around services to empower survivors as they heal and recover from trauma. CCS’ free services include a 24/7 confidential crisis hotline, four domestic violence shelters, counseling, legal services, safety planning, prevention education and more.

Health & Safety

We serve all survivors of Intimate Partner Violence and Sexual Assault.

The Department Manager is the Intern Supervisor. We provide holistic trainings before the intern or volunteer starts their role. All survivor service roles are required to have one year commitment. To insure service accuracy and reports, all volunteers and interns will require to use our volunteer software/ system to log hours in certain codes.

  • Driver's License
  • Health Check/Screening (e.g. temperature screening, COVID-19 test)
  • Must be 18 or older
