Education Department Service OpportunityAt — Boys and Girls Clubs of Monterey County, Salinas
The Education Department at The Seaside Clubhouse of the Boys and Girls Club Monterey County (BGCMC) is where a fulfilling experience awaits. You have the opportunity to learn and assist in leading our web-based reading intervention program. In addition, this is a space where you work one-on-one for a few minutes at a time with kids in our community, 2nd -5th grade, who need additional reading support. We use incentives to reward them for progress in this fast-paced environment. We also have opportunities in our Arts Center to help our members learn about the creative process, self-expression, and grit through fun art activities! Finally, our Technology Center is looking for support for kids learning how to play Roblox. This opportunity prepares them for a possible exciting future learning how to code from the Roblox developers. The Education Department is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering Youth Development as a profession.
