Organization Description

The mission of the organization is to open the doors of opportunity to working people and their communities.  The UFW Foundation aims to empower and improve the lives of farm workers, immigrant workers and Latinos through community education, civic participation, and the promotion of equitable public policy.

 

 

Program Information

Specific Tasks & Responsibilities May Include: Gather client facts for completion of legal forms; Review and index document productions;  Assist with preparation filings and submissions; Correspond with clients as directed; Confirm and schedule appointments with new and existing clients (via phone and email); Assist with data input in our legal database/case management software ; Participate in outreach, education, and workshop events; Assist with NATZ /DACA applications; Close cases;  Provide administrative support as needed; Other duties as assigned.

Ability to work well with diverse groups • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
