To uplift our Modesto communities by providing outreach services focused on Health, Safety, and Education for all individuals through community engagement and advocacy.

Program Information

Our Communications Department is opening up an opportunity for a student intern. Our mission is to connect communities through collaborative partnerships by continuously evolving and navigating complex systems, societal factors, and social determinants in an ongoing effort to bridge gaps, racial inequities, and disparities inherent within our community for a just and thriving Stanislaus County.

 

The Communications Department at West Modesto Community Collaborative plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing communication both within the organization and with external stakeholders. The departments responsibilities encompass various key areas, including, internal communication, external communication, media relations, social media management, event and fundraising management, content creation and development of marketing materials. Our Communications department is dedicated to maintaining a positive public image, fostering strong internal connections, and ensuring that our messages resonate with our diverse audience. Through effective communication strategies, we aim to amplify the impact of West Modesto Community Collaborative in our community and beyond.

By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned...

- how to develop content for newsletters, social media, radio show and other important channels-how to schedule posts-how to plan fundraisers and events- how to use a professional camera
