Health Educator-Program CoordinatorAt — CSUF - Student Health and Counseling Center

The Health Educator Program Coordinator will assist the advisor in Delivery of the CHOMP (Cooking Health and Optimal Movement Promotion) Spring Program Plan. Tasks will include delivering process and program evaluations, review of best practices, social media marketing campaigns and creation of professional handbills.

Learning Outcomes  

1. Understand and Interpret the value of program evaluation data
   2. Create relevant health promotional materials directed at a specific population and their related health conditions.
   3. Build capacity with on campus partners while doing needs assessments.
   4. Build leadership skills through program logistics/organizing of events

Training  

1. One on One meetings to provide open communication.
   2. Shared Trello Board for organizing project tasks and goals.
   3. Asking for clarification on feedback throughout the project
   4. Being authentic and flexible and use in active listening, reflections and summarizing conversations.
   5. Provide guidance and samples for project tasks that are unfamiliar.

Tasks/Duties  

1. Review literature and best practices on collecting survey data and program activates.
   2. Identify best modality to deliver program evaluators.
   3. Evaluate and summarize evaluation
   4. Key informant interviews with targeted populations to inform creation of handbills.
   5. Create program materials and social media specific to public health messaging for our population
   6. Program Logistics for day of program events
