Opportunity Summary 

    • Take direction from the lead teacher.

    • Creates and implements age-appropriate curriculum. 

    • Set up and clean up the physical classroom and outdoor spaces.

    • In line supervision of children and practicum students

    • Diapering and/or toilet learning.

    • Demonstrate respect for children, parents, and colleagues.

    • Skilled at positive discipline and managing large groups of children.

Tasks:

Creating a comprehensive curriculum for two-year-old children.
Implement curriculum for children and reflect on the written curriculum for modifications and/or changes.

Training:

General orientation, bi-weekly meetings, one-on-one mentor meetings, attendance to workshops and regular feedback.

Learning Outcome:

1. Demonstration of developmentally appropriate early childhood program planning and teaching competencies under the supervision of ECE/CD faculty and other qualified early education professionals.
2. Reflective practice and evaluation of approaches, strategies, and techniques that promote development and learning
