Organization Description

Sacred Bonds is a behavioral health care company focused on providing evidenced-based driven treatment services for children, adolescents and adults suffering from a variety of mental health issues. Our goal is to emphasize the provision of valuable emotional health information to the families of our community so that our children can be as resilient as possible.

Program Information

A. Review of Personality Series by Jordan Peterson (YouTube Format 2015 Personality and its Transformations), Review of Attachment Theory and the Grieving Process by Dr. Gordon Neufeld. B. Emphasis on DSM-V review of major mental health disorders: Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Personality Disorders. Goal will be to identify significant symptom clusters necessary for mental health related disorders as guided by the DSM-V criteria, Mental Status and Risk Assessment C. Vignettes designed to present clinical presentations and have intern formulate the basis of a working diagnosis. Shadowing direct psychotherapy sessions both in person or via telehealth. Identification of 1-5 patients that will benefit from Brief Psychotherapy interventions. These will be performed mostly via Telehealth format however emphasis will be on having in person experience as well.

Health & Safety

The only requirement is that students be in their 2nd year of studies.
