Opportunity Summary 

The MSW Intern will be under the direct supervision of Vince Dutto and field supervision of the MDIC Coordinator. The intern will learn to perform professional work in an assigned area by assisting in varied assignments related to forensic interviewing of suspected child abuse cases, research, analysis, and report writing or routine technical and professional work.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Participants learn to identify and respond to common barriers associated with interviewing children. Participants learn how to corroborate testimonial evidence with other evidence during an investigation. Course participants learn how to objectively evaluate alternative hypotheses to an allegation of abuse.
