Opportunity Summary 

The Corporate Services team provides administrative and facility services to global offices. Services include but are not limited to courier services, facilities management, occupancy planning, health & safety, and the creation of standard operating procedures. Providing these services allows departments to focus on their respective ministries and functions with efficiency, effectiveness, and safety. The Corporate Services strategic goal is to manage, develop, enhance, and streamline all administrative and facility processes to ensure the highest quality of service to all who enter our facilities and align with our global strategy.

The Opportunity:

As a Corporate Services Intern, you'll have the opportunity to:

The intern’s responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management: developing achievable goals, meeting deadlines, and coordinating necessary meetings/deliverables.

  • Technology Integration: researching, improving, developing, and implementing modern technologies including but not limited to software, applications, and hardware.

  • Occupancy Planning: assisting with the implementation of Corporate Services best practices across global offices.

  • Chapel/Events: Support planning and coordinating efforts for large-scale events while maintaining budget restrictions and deadlines.

Essential qualities for this role:

  • You have general knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • You can coordinate with multiple people/departments to meet deliverables.

  • You are proficient and professional with communication via email, phone, and in person.

  • You are passionate about using your God-given talents to positively impact the world.

Project Management: developing achievable goals, meeting deadlines, and coordinating necessary meetings/deliverables.

Technology Integration: researching, improving, developing, and implementing modern technologies including but not limited to software, applications, and hardware.

Occupancy Planning: assisting with the implementation of Corporate Services best practices across global offices.

Chapel/Events: Support planning and coordinating efforts for large-scale events while maintaining budget restrictions and deadlines.

Training:

Orientation.
Weekly 1:1's with the manager.
Access to informational interviews and e-courses in the intern's area of interest.
Weekly professional development programming delivered by WV People and Culture including workshops and guest speakers.
Access to resources related to professional development

Learning Outcomes:

Effectively designing, implementing, and delivering on multiple levels of projects within deadlines.
Enhance communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with individuals from diverse cultures, perspectives, and global contexts.
Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the nuances involved in fostering consistency and efficiency in corporate services on an international scale.
