Opportunity Summary 

The Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast (GSCCC) is offering an opportunity for Service Learners to build their facilitation skills while developing and implementing a workshop for Girl Scouts in kinder through 9th grades.

If you have a passion for STEAM, Outdoors, Life Still or Entrepreneurship and want to create a sustainable opportunity within our organization, this is for you. We have over 300 Girl Scout badges that are unique and interesting to a wide range of girls, here is your change to make a difference.

Of particular interest:

  • Cybersecurity
  • Generation Rx (which is a new, drug awareness program)

5 service learners

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
Opportunity Training 

GSCCC staff will provide weekly meetings to discuss project development including how to backward plan, develop age-appropriate activities, and budget. There will be GSCCC staff weekly meetings.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Service Learners will need to have a GSCCC membership. The council will pick up the cost.
