Behavior TechnicianAt — BrightView Behavioral Health
Behavior technicians will do the following:
-Implement behavior programs as written by their supervisors
-Implement skill acquisition programs as outlined within their program
-Provide in the moment support to clients to engage in functional communication
-Increase skill domains to increase independence
Tasks
-Daily session notes that outline any new behaviors
-Take in the moment data that will be reviewed weekly
-Observation and fidelity checks by supervisors
Training
Students receive access to 40 hour RBT training, in person shadowing, and in person training. Continued training is provided throughout weekly throughout the students work with assigned clients.
Learning Outcomes
-Identify Antecedents, Behaviors, and Consequences of maladaptive behaviors
-Implement antecedent strategies with fluency
-Assess in the moment motivation and provide assistance to client to learn new skills
