Opportunity Summary 

Addressing inquiries, assisting with screening clients, monitor medication being dispensed, delegate client activities, administer intakes and discharges.  

Student will be doing case management, providing linkage to further services, collaborating with LHPA and M.D. for client’s services, and collaborate with client’s to create treatment plans.

Training:

Training include job shadowing, daily review on documentations, monthly facility meetings/trainings, and on-hands training of what role consist of.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will have knowledge on a withdrawal management program, guide and transfer clients’s to continued services after discharge of facilities, and develop skills such as assertiveness, computer skills, and dealing with crisis.
