Assistant managerAt — Southern California center for pain management

Intern will be helping patients with taking vitals , rooming , emr work , telemedicine , calling patients , translating & any other office needs 

Check in / check out patients . Take patients vitals . Room patients . Call patients for telemed appointment. Call patients to check out . Translate for Spanish speaker patients .

Training:

The student will be trained one on one. The student will read an office manual and will be taught different job duties. The student will shadow the front desk and back office. The student will have enough training until she is comfortable.

Learning Outcomes:

The student will be able to help patients and defuse any upset interactions. The student will be able to better understand how to work on an emr system. I’m also hoping the student learns confidence.
