Opportunity Summary 

Do you enjoy providing one-on-one and small group educational support for kids and teens? Lend us your time and brainpower during our Power Hour program, a homework help enrichment program for elementary-level and teenage-level Club members.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

-how to tutor one-on-one and in small groups -the impact of a mentor on a child's life -how to track and reward academic behaviors -if applicable, how to assist high school students' with their college applications and scholarships

Opportunity Training 

The site supervisor will train individual students as needed concerning protocols and program requirements.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we ask that all volunteers remain masked during their time volunteering and social distance when possible.

Opportunity Application Instructions 

Students will fill out an application and then be interviewed. If there is a good match, the volunteer to fill out waivers and a background check. Once the background check has been processed, the volunteer will re-connect with the site supervisor to be formally placed for on-site volunteering.
