Organization Description

MPUSD is the largest school district on the peninsula serving children K-12.

All students must complete fingerprinting, TB tests and district orientation through Human Resources before starting the placement.

Program Information

General Description of what students will be doing at this Site: Running Socio-emotional classes / substance use classes / one-on-one check ins with students

Key Responsibilities: managing caseload / managing curriculum / keeping light notes from check ins

Desired Intern Characteristics: happy to work with high school students / somewhat tough and ready to work with hard to serve clientele / self-motivated and organized

Health & Safety

  • Completed Volunteer form (application with field staff)
  • Valid TB test Clearance
  • Fingerprint Clearance from DOJ (application with field staff)
  • A letter from your professor/program coordinator verifying the program you are participating in, where you are being placed and for how long.
