Orally instructing students on an assignment, beginning with presenting and giving instructions. Create an lesson plan using Google docs and Google sheets, and create a quiz on Google Classroom. Allow the student to grade some assignments, adding comments and suggestions. Let the student walk around the classroom and engage in students' learning. Walking around the classroom will also allow the student to learn to engage socially with the students.
Duties will include but not limited to:
Apply multiple teaching methods.
Establish rules or policies governing student behavior.
Evaluate student work.
Develop instructional objectives.
Monitor student performance.
Monitor student behavior, social development, or health.
Plan educational activities.
Maintain student records.
Teach others to use technology or equipment.
Set up classroom materials or equipment.
Training:
Orientation will be held on Day 1. One-on-one meetings will be held on Fridays to review the week. Student will be in the classroom actively participating in teaching. Student will instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Student will observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. Student will prepare objectives and outlines for courses of study, following curriculum guidelines or requirements of states and schools. Student will plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate. Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students.
Student will maintain accurate and complete student records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
Student will instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment and materials to prevent injury and damage. Student will prepare materials and classroom for class activities.
Student will assign and grade class work and homework. All activities will be completed in presence of mentor supervision.
