Opportunity Summary 

VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANT (VITA)- GREETER VOLUNTEER Bring your love of numbers and people together by volunteering to support with the intake process for taxpayers. Your help will enable them to receive proper tax credits and refunds, to their delight! Volunteering with the VITA program is unexpectedly rewarding. The people we serve are extremely grateful for the gift of your time and effort.

Opportunity Training 

Training and Support: • No prior tax experience needed • Supervising staff oversight for guidance

Opportunity Application Instructions 

• Pass a test on required standards • Make copies of necessary documentation • Interview clients on income, deductions, and credits • Ensure forms are completed accurately • Provide high-quality assistance • Maintain client confidentiality • Other duties as assigned
