Opportunity Summary 

The California Seaweed Festival engages the public through social media and curated video content as well as our live events. Assisting the social media strategist is a fun and challenging way to share information about coastal ecosystems with a broad audience.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will learn a lot about the marine ecosystems of California, the artists, scientists and entrepreneurs working in the growing blue economy, and more about seaweeds than you could have ever imagined before.

Opportunity Training 

Training will be on a case by case basis to ensure that students have the skills needed before assigning tasks.
