Opportunity Summary 

Researches prospective donors for fundraising initiatives/campaigns, prepares donor and corporate profiles, searches for funding opportunities, assists with the year-round corporate partner's program, prepares proposals for organization support, and helps develop ideas to cultivate donor relationships. Research individual donor profiles on current and prospective donors and maintain donor prospect pipeline using ASCENDtials donor database and other wealth management systems. Assist with the development of donor and corporate sponsor stewardship. Research and identify business and family foundation funding opportunities. Working with key personnel; preparing proposals for organization support. Assist with development and coordination of fundraising events. Assist with maintaining the development database. Help coordinate meetings between Director with donors, business leaders and family foundation executives. Along with key personnel, solicits sponsorships and other donations and/or in-kind Coordinate presentation requests and inquiries. Support the development of marketing pieces and development materials. Attend and present at community meetings and networking events as required.

To equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfill their responsibilities effectively, we offer a comprehensive training program tailored to their needs. Here's an overview of the training provided: Onboarding: New students receive orientation on our structure, policies, and resources available. Learning Sessions: Regular workshops cover time management, communication, and tools like Asana and Slack. Meet and Greets: Periodic events allow students to network with faculty and peers, fostering collaboration. Syllabus: Detailed curriculum guides students through their responsibilities and learning objectives. Gantt Charts: Training is provided on creating and using Gantt charts for project planning and tracking. Final Project: Students complete a comprehensive final project with guidance and support. This condensed version still covers the key training aspects provided to students for their responsibilities.
