Community Mental Health InternAt — Foothill Family

Bachelor level internships open at our Duarte, El Monte, and Pasadena locations of Foothill Family for approximately 16-20 hours a week receiving $20/hour stipend for 3-5 months. Various hours available. Internship to include mentorship and supervision. Internship will be based in the community and the neighboring schools as needed. Intern will help with outreach and engagement opportunities. Intern will help with opportunities to outreach with populations with greater barriers to access mental health services. Intern will help with workshops and groups to help engage the community and provide resources to access mental health services. Intern will be provided supervision and mentorship. Intern will work with other Foothill Family staff in engaging the community to have discussions surrounding barriers to access mental health and other needed services. Intern will help in outreach opportunities in the community to help others understand what services are available in the community. Intern will help in workshops and co-facilitating appropriate groups to help engage the community and help in accessing care.
