100% virtual internship

We're looking for a candidate who is interested in talent representation and wants to learn about the entertainment industry from a talent rep's & producer's perspective.

As managers, we are strategically aligned with agents and interact daily with casting directors. We work closely with each other and our clients to best further their careers in this industry. This experience provides interns with an unique vantage point into these other career paths as well.

This is a virtual 10-20 hour a week commitment for a period equivalent to 1 semester. This internship is for college credit exclusively.

With supervision from various members of our team each day, you'd have the opportunity to do the following hands-on tasks:

- Assist managers in all communications with clients.

- Updating our inEntertainment database with auditions, pitches, meetings, and events

- Watch takes of self-tape auditions and help managers decide which to submit to casting and what feedback too offer clients

- Maintaining records of client relationships within the industry

- Social Media (Facebook & Twitter) Updates as well as IMDB page maintenance

- Keeping resumes updated

- Tracking air dates for clients' new projects

- Assisting in the drafting of pitches

- Work on special projects, as needed

- If your personality is suited to submitting, we allow you the opportunity to submit and pitch on a few projects with supervision.

- By the end of your internship you'll also be juggling multiple priorities at once and experiencing the true pace of a management and production office.

Training:

You will be trained extensively by development team and director in the following:

- us of our in Entertainment database.

- use Breakdown Services, Casting Networks, IMDbPro, and Luminate.

- how to interact with clients, agents, casting, production and other collaborators

- important terminology to be effective in your entertainment business communications.

- how to create and maintain essential marketing tools for clients.

- how we utilize relationships and leverage information to serve our clients.

- how to use social media to promote entertainment careers.

- how to manage calendars, google drive, dropbox, email folders and other essential systems that keep our office running smoothly.

By sitting in on client meetings, you will also learn how we build strategies and plans in collaboration with our clients.

Learning Outcomes:

We'd like for you to walk away with a working knowledge of how talent management teams work with actors, agents, entertainment lawyers, casting, and production offices within the entertainment industry.

You'll have a stronger industry vocabulary for effective communication in future entertainment business pursuits.

You will build skills that will be transferable to future entertainment positions.

You'll leave knowing if talent management is right for you.

You'll accumulate new relationships and a potential for continued mentorships as your career grows.
