Opportunity Summary 

The Seasonal Finance + Accounting Intern will play a key role in advancing Digital4Good’s business goals and maintaining effective and efficient financial management. They will perform the necessary financial controls to support the nonprofit’s business activities, including, but not limited to, the planning and management of financial records, resources, and other information pertaining to business finances. 

Tasks:

Maintain accurate general ledger entries and adhere to accounting principles
Verify and allocate daily Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable transactions
Work closely with Leadership Team to ensure smooth flow of information relative to financing matters, project schedules, customer payments, and project completion
Support budget planning and preparation
Keep team members informed of financial information that affects workflow and service delivery
Provide revenue forecasts, analysis, and support to Board and Chief Financial Officer
Maintain clear communication with team members on status of assigned project(s) through weekly meetings with the team and supervisor
Attend quarterly Advisory Steering Committee

Training:

Students will have an initial general orientation meeting and complete our onboarding process, where they will receive an overview of assigned tasks, guidance on how to use ClickUp (our project management tool) and access key folders/documents, and familiarize themselves with the organization and its brand assets. After the onboarding process is complete, students will have weekly scheduled meetings with their supervisor and team members.
