The Computer System Engineer position in our company requires comprehensive information technology and computer science knowledge and skills to best perform the complex and specialized duties and therefore requires a level of education that at least exceeds a Bachelor’s Degree.
Tasks:
1. Customize database systems to efficiently manage loan data, borrower information, and financial transactions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and optimizing loan processing workflows.
2. Implement robust security measures within database systems to protect sensitive borrower data and financial information, conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate potential risks and breaches.
3. Integrate database systems with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms to streamline borrower interactions and communications, customize CRM functionalities to monitor loan application statuses, manage client communications, and automate follow-up processes.
4. Develop reporting tools and analytics dashboards to assess risk exposure and present loan metrics and financial insights to management and stakeholders, utilizing data visualization techniques to facilitate decision-making processes.
Training:
1. Initial General Employer Orientation: Mandatory orientation session covering company policies, procedures, and compliance standards, with a focus on data security and regulatory requirements in the financial industry.
2. Weekly Scheduled One-on-One Mentor Meetings: Regular meetings with the technical lead to discuss project objectives, progress, and challenges, providing guidance and feedback on tasks related to database customization, security implementation, CRM integration, and analytics development.
3. Job Shadowing: Opportunities to observe and learn from experienced engineers working on database systems, security protocols, CRM integration, and analytics tools, gaining insight into real-world applications of computer engineering principles in the financial sector.
4. Workshops/Skills Training: Scheduled workshops on database management, cybersecurity, CRM integration techniques, data visualization, and reporting tools, providing hands-on experience with relevant software platforms and technologies.
5. Provision of Work Samples: Access to sample database systems, security protocols, CRM integrations, and analytics dashboards for study and reference, allowing interns to analyze best practices and explore real-world examples.
6. Overview/Contextualization of Assigned Tasks: Detailed explanations of assigned tasks related to database customization, security implementation, CRM integration, and analytics development, including discussions on project objectives, technical requirements, and expected outcomes within the context of financial loan management.
7. Training Literature Reviews and Testing: Assigned readings on database management, cybersecurity, CRM integration, and data analytics in the financial industry, followed by assessments or practical exercises to reinforce understanding and apply key concepts.
