This is an opportunity to work with 2 professional artists teaching summer art camp at First Night Monterey!
Summer Art Camp is located at the Archer Park Center (542 Archer St, Monterey, CA 93940) and we offer art camp to youth 7-16 years old. Two different camps- one for younger youth and one for older that has "maker" activities.
SUMMER ART DAY CAMP PROJECTS MAY INCLUDE:
- Drawing
- Painting
- Sculpture
- Cooking*
- Sewing*
- Screen-Printing*
- Self-Portrait
- Multi-Media
- Gardening*
- Yarn Crafts*
* Available in Makers camps - Makers sessions are targeted for older students.
Art Camp has an art show each Friday, where we set up the art studio into an art show with framed and matted art on display with families attending the exhibition of the weeklong camp.

- 9:30 A.M. – 3 P.M.
- (Extended supervision 8:30-9:30 A.M. & 3-4 P.M.)

We would have a conversation about your background, interests, and ask for a resume and/or portfolio. A background check (livescan/fingerprint) would need to be cleared. And then an in-person interview would be the last part of the process.
