Organization Description

Redwood Institute of Social Research (RISR) specializes in rigorous and ethically conscientious research consultation working in collaboration with public/private social service and mental health care providers in rural Northern California. Services include community-focused needs assessments, client-centered program development, and program evaluation. RISR also provides hands-on learning opportunities through higher-educational research mentorships to increase the skills of macro-focused social workers, sociologists, and social scientist aimed at improving social determinants of health.
