Opportunity Summary 

Under the direction of the Department of Homeless Solutions and Equitable Communities (HSEC) leadership, the Student Worker will assist with planning, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating events, programs, and projects in alignment with Live Well San Diego, the County of San Diego’s long-term vision for healthy, safe, and thriving communities. Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Ideal candidates will: Have interest in community engagement and health equity. Be comfortable in professional settings. Be well-organized and detail oriented. Have strong oral and written communication skills. Be a full time undergraduate or graduate college student. Have experience using Microsoft Office and Adobe applications. Students with Spanish language proficiency are strongly encouraged to apply.

Opportunity Training 

Onboarding orientation, training videos, cross training, and shadowing

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students will be required to lift boxes and outreach materials such as tables, chairs, and canopies. Max weight up to 50 lbs.
