Opportunity Summary 

As a Math Learning Assistant, students looking to further their careers in the educational field will get hands-on experience working with elementary and middle school level students.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

- Gain experience working with elementary and middle school students (under supervision of a trained Mathnasium Instructor) - Evaluate and document student progress over the course of the student's enrollment - Practice maintaining student attention, redirecting distracted and unfocused students, and provide constructive feedback based off of student worksheets - Help to cultivate a positive learning environment

Opportunity Training 

Students brought on as a Math Learning Assistant will undergo a series of training opportunities created by management. Math Learning Assistants will spend time watching videos and completing worksheets to introduce the Mathnasium teaching methods, as well as undergo training directly with the Center Director to learn basic Learning Center practices.

Opportunity Application Instructions 

Students will need to submit a resume to the Center Director, complete the Employment Test, and interview with the Management Team
