Opportunity Summary 

Volunteers are given an inside look on what it takes to run a high school volleyball program. Students will learn from experienced coaches, assist in coaching student-athletes, and develop and apply administrative and sports management skills.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Knowledge Acquired: Sport of Volleyball- Skills and Strategy, Roles & Responsibilities involved in Sports Management Skills Acquired: Consistent Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Statistician Skills, Coaching & Skills Development

Opportunity Training 

Students will undergo a coaching clearance process that prepares them to work with minors in an athletic setting. Students will also participate in regular meetings with the coaching staff throughout the volleyball season, providing opportunity for coaching, feedback, and discussion.
