Gateways Hospital & Mental Health Center (Child & Adolescent Outpatient Program)

Organization Description

Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center, a non-profit organization located In Echo Park, has been serving the Greater Los Angeles area since 1953. Gateways offers an array of comprehensive mental health services for Children, Adolescents, Transitional Aged Youth, and Adults suffering from mental illness. We pride ourselves on offering the same quality standards in mental health treatment available to individuals, whether funded or non-funded.

Health & Safety

Since Gateways is a hospital, and we provide client care. there is a risk of getting sick (COVID, flu, TB, etc). We have minimized risks by enforcing that each person arriving to GCAOP, must complete a questionnaire, take a temperature check 2s/dau, wear a surgical mask or greater. If staff/interns are not feeling well, we have asked that they stay home or if feeling ill at work to go home away. There is also risks of trate clients coming into the office. All staff/interns are trained in MOAB/CPI to address these issues
