Organization Description
  • rovide financial &  assistance and support to cancer patients and other patients facing end-of-life, including, without limitations, programs designed to meet the psychological, emotional, social and spiritual needs of such patients
  • Provide educational programs for medical professionals with respect to diagnosis, treatment and management of cancer and end of life
  • Establish community-based educational initiatives to promote the early detection of cancer and an integrated approach to cancer treatment
  • Provide support groups focused on patients facing the end of life and their caregivers and the bereaved
Program Information

erry’s Place is a Social Model Hospice Home located in About Care Assisted Living Center in Seaside, California. We offer a comfortable home-like environment for individuals enrolled in a hospice program to live out their final days, specifically when they do not have a safe and stable living situation or caregiver. We are the only facility in Monterey county offering these services.

Jerry’s Place is an initiative of the Jerry Rubin Foundation and is supported  by a grant received from the Hospice Giving Foundation.
