In this position, service learners will assist with daily operations, organizing the prayer areas, set up community potlucks, gatherings, events and holidays. Support donation programs that the Mosque reaches out to. Assist in the Islamic school on the weekends, help out the teachers with the young children on organizing material and create ideas for them. Help with administrative tasks like event planning and scheduling, volunteer programs, mosque maintenance.
Training from supervisor will be provided and they will be available to supervise and assist as needed.
Students will be given access to appropriate organization Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed for specific tasks. Supervisor will be available for questions, guidance and to check in on progress.
