Opportunity Summary

We at Fort Ord Environmental Justice Network know that toxins & pollution in our air, water & soil threatens our health.  We are concerned about the burning and use of Alumagel, Pesticides, Nitrates, Diesel fuels & other toxins.  We are also a very small organization that could use a LOT of support.  Here are a few of the ways we could use service learners:

  • Read & interpret data from documents about clean-ups and land resuse.
  • Assist with monitoring the Monterey County air quality
  • Tabling for FOEJN at community events
  • Updating and activating our website
  • Assisting with grant writing
  • anything else you think suits your skillset!

Our office is located at 31 Upper Ragsdale Rd, Monterey, CA 93940.  However, we can meet on Zoom and/or in-person at a convenient location.
