Responsibilities include initiating and nurturing relationships with influencers, moderating online communities, and strategizing content to foster engagement.

Tasks:

As a Social Media Management Intern specializing in outreach and community management, your day-to-day tasks will be dynamic and diverse, focusing on engaging with audiences and fostering meaningful connections.
Here's what your typical day might look like:
1. Influencer Outreach:
* Identify potential influencers aligned with brand values and target demographics.
* Initiate outreach via email or social media messages, introducing the brand and proposing collaboration opportunities.
* Follow up on ongoing conversations with influencers, addressing inquiries and negotiating partnership terms.
2. Community Engagement:
* Monitor brand mentions and discussions across social media platforms.
* Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from the community, providing timely and helpful responses.
* Foster positive interactions within online communities by sharing relevant content, initiating discussions, and acknowledging user-generated content.
3. Content Strategy Implementation:
* Assist in the development and execution of content calendars for social media platforms.
* Collaborate with the content team to create engaging posts, including graphics, videos, and captions.
* Schedule and publish content across various platforms, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
4. Analytics and Reporting:
* Utilize social media analytics tools to track performance metrics such as engagement, reach, and impressions.
* Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement in outreach and community engagement efforts.
* Prepare regular reports summarizing key metrics and providing recommendations for optimization.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
* Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, content creation, and design, to align outreach efforts with overall brand strategies.
* Communicate effectively with influencers, maintaining professional relationships and ensuring deliverables are met.
* Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for campaigns and initiatives.

* Seek feedback from mentors and supervisors to continuously improve skills and performance.

Training:

Upon onboarding, students will be required to complete two internet safety courses. The first emphasizing internet safety, the second focusing on confidentiality and protecting client information. These courses will be transferable skills they can add to their LinkedIn profile skills if they choose. We will be providing first hand experience in client outreach, campaign strategy, development and implementation. Students will have the opportunity to shadow clients meetings and watch how content is created, mapped and scheduled out. We will provide students with an opportunity to create an end-to-end mock campaign to be evaluated. Based on performance, students will be granted an opportunity to assist on higher level client campaigns. We plan on meeting virtually 1-3x weekly with evaluations being biweekly.

4. Content Strategy and Creation: Gain insights into content planning and creation for social media platforms. Learn how to develop compelling content that resonates with the target audience and drives engagement.

5. Social Media Analytics: Explore the use of analytics tools to track performance metrics and measure the success of outreach efforts. Learn how to interpret data and make informed decisions to optimize campaign performance.
