This internship opportunity will provide an opportunity for candidates to gain practical teaching experience in a supportive environment. Interns will receive mentorship from experienced teachers and educational leaders/partners. Candidates will be making a difference in the lives of students while developing professional teaching skills.
Candidates will have learned to refine classroom management and instruction skills while taking opportunities to network within the educational community.
Training on Planbook (lesson planning digital platform), digital curriculum and assessment platforms such as HM Think Central, HRW, iReady, Amplify, etc., data dashboards to analyze data reports, staff and student safety trainings (bloodborne pathogens, heat-illness prevention, mandated reporter, violence in the workplace, active threat), observation/shadow opportunities, county office content coordinator one-on-one and group training (ie. math), opportunities to attend conferences and other professional development related to the vision and mission/initiatives of the district.
