Opportunity Summary 

Student will serve as a teaching assistant (TA) for introductory statistics for psychology (psyc 201), in which they will assist with grading, constructing quiz questions, and hosting office hours.

Learning Outcomes  

- Engage with introductory statistics material by memory
- Construct testable material for classroom settings
- Assist and reinforce students understanding of material in a teaching role

Training  

- Meet regularly with the student
- Provide guided material (i.e., guides, rubrics, grading walkthroughs) for tasks
- Provide reading material to supplement teaching goals.

Tasks/Duties  

- Host weekly office hours
- Grade assignments
- Respond regularly to student emails
- Help construct testing questions
- Find reading resources for student supplemental reading
