Hospice Intern At — Bridge Hospice
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of hospice care. Interns will work closely with healthcare professionals to support terminally ill patients and their families during a critical time. This role provides exposure to various aspects of hospice care, including patient support, family counseling, administrative tasks, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Provide direct support to hospice patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Participate in patient assessment and care planning sessions.Engage in meaningful interactions with patients to enhance their quality of life. Support families through counseling and emotional support sessions. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress.
A 6-hour orientation/training session is provided to all interns while onboarding.
