Project Management InternAt — Mental Health and Social Justice Clinic Inc.
Project Manager will serve as key coordinator for our Iron Sharoens Iron Summit and Mental Health and Social Justice Symposium. They will coordinate the participation, advertisement, and organization of nonprofit and for profits organizations, colleges, and universities in the United States and South Africa. They will also coordination with IT Director and PR and Marketing Director.
Tasks:
1. Student will complete national and international communication and organization skills.
2. Student will complete the core and tenets of project management.
3. Student will complete diverse communication styles and messaging as they communicate internationally and nationally with various organizations.
The Project Manger work as a member of our Operations Department which consist of a team of 4 administrative professionals, 1 IT professional, 1 graphic artist, and 1 Public Relations Director.
Each member of our Operational Department will work in collaboration with the student Intern. We created this position to share administrative, project management, and PR which existing team members perform and can support the student as they learn. The Intern will only perform duties which our team currently performs as per the labor standard and code.
Training:
Orientation and onboarding, weekly meetings and supervision, one-one-trainings and support, and work samples.
