Role Overview:

As a Junior AI Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for developing a tool that allows sidekicks to work seamlessly with Fetch.ai agents/Agentverse. This tool will enable sidekicks to utilize agents on the network to complete tasks such as booking tables, with a success measure of achieving 10% coverage of our points of interest currently being developed by our POC team. This project offers excellent synergy between our teams and provides an exciting opportunity for you to be at the forefront of Fetch.ai's go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a tool for sidekicks to interact with Fetch.ai agents/Agentverse.

- Collaborate with the POC team to ensure the tool covers 10% of our points of interest.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the tool to ensure optimal performance.

- Provide regular updates on project progress and any challenges encountered.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning technologies.

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.

- Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, and agent-based systems.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

- Familiarity with Fetch.ai or similar agent-based platforms is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Basic Training for Junior AI Engineer Intern
Duration: August 26 to December 20

Week 1: Introduction and Onboarding 1. Company Overview:Introduction to the organization, its mission, and values.Overview of different teams and their roles. 2. Project Overview:Briefing on Fetch.ai agents/Agentverse and project objectives.Introduction to points of interest. 3. Tools and Platforms:Overview of development tools, programming languages (Python, Java, C++), and internal systems (Git, Jira, Slack). 4. Meet & Greets:Scheduled meet and greet sessions with team members and key stakeholders.Opportunities to build relationships and understand team dynamics.

Week 2-3: Technical Training
1. Fetch.ai and Agentverse:Training on Fetch.ai’s architecture and Agentverse platform.Hands-on tutorials for managing agents. 2. Programming Skills:Refresher on relevant programming languages.Best practices for coding, debugging, and testing. 3. APIs and Integration:Training on API usage and integration with Fetch.ai agents.Practical exercises on data handling.

Week 4-7: Development and Testing
1. Initial Development:Begin tool development with mentor guidance.Regular progress check-ins. 2. Testing Procedures:Introduction to testing methodologies and tools.Writing and executing test cases. 3. Feedback and Iteration:Conduct initial testing, gather feedback, and iterate on the tool.

Week 8-11: Collaboration and Integration
1. Collaboration with POC Team: Effective collaboration techniques.Integration sessions with the POC team for 10% coverage of points of interest. 2. Cross-Functional Teams:Training on working with UI/UX designers, software engineers, and project managers.Effective communication and reporting.

Week 12-15: Finalization and Deployment
1. Final Testing and Optimization: Conduct final testing and ensure tool stability. 2. Documentation and Training:Create documentation and user guides.Prepare training materials for end-users. 3. Deployment and Handoff:Training on deployment processes.Smooth transition and ongoing support.
Ongoing: Mentorship and Professional Development
1. Regular Check-ins: Weekly mentor meetings for progress and career development. Feedback and guidance opportunities.

2. Professional Development: Access to AI, machine learning, and software development resources. Participation in team meetings and company events.
