Consultations and Meetings
Attend 3 new client consultations with an emphasis on event planning
Attend 3 new client consultations with an emphasis on rentals and/or floral decor
Pull from the warehouse and setup for 3 floral mockup appointments
Attend 3 floral mockup appointments
Pre-Planning
Assist Planner to create a budget for a client
Assist Planner with collecting vendor recommendations for a client. This may include requesting a quote
Assist Planner in creating 3 timelines
Create 3 event diagrams in Social Tables
Read through and understand vendor contracts (including but not limited to: photographer, videographer, DJ, caterer, bakery, transportation, rentals, flowers, etc.)
Read through and understand a BEO
Attend 2 off-site logistic meetings at wedding venues with the wedding planner, client, and vendors
Call to confirm arrival times of wedding vendors
Day-Of
Assist with 1 wedding rehearsals
Assist 1 Garba/Sangeet/Mehndi event
Assist 3 wedding ceremonies
Assist 3 wedding receptions
Direct vendors where to set up upon arrival to the event
Social Media
Help run and update our exiting social media accounts
Tasks:
Basic office duties:
- answering the phones
- taking down quotes and customer information
Lending a helping hand in all departments
- operations, decor, social media
Use creativity
- designing vision boards for clients
- re-designing show rooms
Meetings and consultations
- sitting in and taking notes
On site coordination
- working at the events with operations and coordination
Training:
Shadowing the employees here so it is a teach-as-you-go position.
Be given event terminology and information to study.
Sit in on and take notes on meetings and consultations.
Write a three essays over the course of your time at Bel.
Training on every aspect of an event from start to finish.
Training on our specific tools and websites.
