Opportunity Summary 

This is an opportunity for students to be introduced to the basics of case management and career counseling. Students will either observe or assist with the professional development of student veterans who are participating in the Veterans to Energy Careers (VTEC) Program.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will be introduced to the basics of resume development, building social capital, informational interviewing, case management, host-site supervisor evaluation, research, Socratic questioning, career planning, taking case notes, and learning the fundamentals of managing grant funded programs.

Opportunity Training 

Student will be introduced to Salesforce, Socratic questioning, using artificial intelligence to evaluate resumes and LinkedIn, leveraging Indeed to job search.
