Opportunity Summary 

Unpaid: Academic Credit Required

This position provides the opportunity to be a part of and support the Become Intertwined team in all elements of social media marketing for its clients, including but not limited to, content creation, community management, research, project management, blogging and more.

If you are an absolute go-getter, multi-tasking extraordinaire, who lives for the chance to create, plan and execute unique and engaging social media campaigns across multiple platforms and is always the first of your friends to be in the know for trends and breaking news, this is the internship for you! 

Qualifications
• Must possess excellent writing, research, interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace under deadline and remain poised and professional at all times
• Those with a crazy amount of self-motivation, attention to detail, personal accountability and determination to succeed are wanted
• High-energy and creative individuals, who possess excellent customer service and sales skills are desired
• Proactive and hardworking
• Must possess working knowledge of social media applications including Instagram Facebook, X(Twitter), Pinterest, LinkedIn, blogging, etc.
• Must have constant access to a laptop, cell phone and car
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications including word, excel, power point and publisher. 
• Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or a related field of study is required; Experience in social media management for business a bonus

-Creation and copywriting of strategic social media messaging calendars for clients
-Scheduling and monitoring of daily social media posts for clients
-blog writing, scheduling and optimizing for SEO
-Calculation of Metrics/Analytics and creation of monthly growth reports
-research on trends, best practices, emerging technologies and ever-changing social media platform enhancements to apply to current client base
-asset management (photos, graphics, links, white papers, etc) for client shares

Training:

-Intern receives orientation and training to become familiar with the organization, team, clients and systems
-daily one-on-one direction, mentoring, oversight and feedback provided by Account Managers 
-bi-weekly team meeting to go over directives, deliverables and goals
-constant job shadowing and ability to engage with clients, events, meetings, brainstorms etc
-review and feedback given on each and every document/task created and \\turned in\\

Learning Outcomes:

-Develop strategic writing skills for social media application to drive marketing results
-Proficiency on all major social media platforms
-Be an online Community coordinator
-Confident communicating at a high level with clients including verbally, written and in-person!
