CarePossible Behavioral Health InternAt — CarePossible, Inc.

Intern will support various tasks related to CarePossible's mission to provide free behavioral healthcare to veterans and military families including supporting community education events, serving at various support groups, and spreading awareness of veterans mental health issues.

Tasks:
The student will attend weekly coaching to learn about leading a behavioral healthcare organization, serve as a leader for at least two major community events, write a biography/testimony and produce a video testimony to inspire other veterans needing support.

Training:
Training modalities will include: orientation, weekly mentoring, job shadowing, active service at various community behavioral health and education events.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Have a greater understanding of the operations of a behavioral healthcare nonprofit.
2. Do public speaking on veteran's behavioral healthcare issues.
3. Have a video of their personal testimony as a tool to encourage others to seek support.
