TeacherAt — Rainbow Rising Child Development Center

Supervise children ages 4.5 - 12 years of age in a child care setting.  Daily responsibilities include leading curriculum activities, ranging from arts and crafts to outdoor sports.  

-Curriculum planning
-Leading outdoor games and play
-Implementing daily curriculum activities with the children
-Incorporating in implementing PBIS behavior strategies
-Assist on field trips if applicable

Training:

-Shadow senior staff on the daily requirements of the job.
-Meet weekly with Director to share goals and give feedback of position.
-Work closely with senior staff in all elements of the job and participate in active planning, implementation and daily responsibilities.

Learning Outcomes:

-Plan curriculum lesson plans for children ages 4.5-12.
-Lead and implement a variety of activities for school aged children.
-Work in a team collaborative environment with fellow colleagues in the same field.
