Opportunity Summary 

As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children aged 2-5 years. Your role will involve developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering social and emotional growth, and supporting the overall development of each child. You will work closely with parents, colleagues, and staff to ensure a positive and productive educational experience.

1.Planning and Preparing Lessons:
-Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
-Create and organize educational materials and resources.
-Design and implement thematic units or projects.
2.Teaching and Instruction:
-Lead group activities, circle time, and story sessions.
-Facilitate individual and small group learning activities.
-Teach basic academic concepts like numbers, letters, colors, and shapes.
-Incorporate play-based learning to foster creativity and problem-solving.
3.Classroom Management:
-Establish and maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
-Implement behavioral management strategies and discipline policies.
-Ensure safety and supervision of children at all times.
4.Assessment and Evaluation:
-Observe and assess children's developmental progress and learning.
-Document and report on individual and group progress.
-Adjust teaching strategies based on assessment findings.
5.Communication with Parents and Guardians:
-Provide regular updates to parents on their child's progress and behavior.
-Address concerns and provide guidance on supporting learning at home.
6.Social and Emotional Support:
-Promote social skills, cooperation, and conflict resolution.
-Support children's emotional well-being and provide comfort as needed.
-Encourage self-expression and self-esteem through various activities.
7.Health and Safety:
-Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment.
-Administer first aid and manage minor injuries or illnesses.
-Ensure proper hygiene practices and sanitary conditions.
8.Professional Development:
-Attend workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay current with best practices.
-Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and classroom management.

Training:

Intern will be trained with an initial Orientation to cover our school policies, curriculum, classroom management strategies, emergency procedure, and health and safety regulations.
Regular weekly one on one meeting will be held with the director to share experiences and give feedback to the intern. The intern will participate in collaborating with co-teachers to plan and implement lesson plans. Regular health and safety drills will be conducted to ensure the intern is familiar with emergency procedures and can respond appropriately. Guidance will be given to properly assess and document children's learning.
